Workshop Levels:
Level 1 / Introductory
All skill levels welcome, from absolute beginners to those wishing to refine skills or refresh techniques. In class firing and polishing/finishing. Relaxed pace.
Level 2 / Experienced Beginner
Must have taken Metal Clay Foundation Skills. All level 2 classes will build on established skills and include syringe work, using a needle tool, dry assembly plus additional project specific skills. Moderate pace. May require at home polishing/finishing.
Level 3 / Intermediate
Must have taken any Level 2 class. Skills will be refined, and understanding expanded, multi-tasking. Brisk pace. Requires at home polishing/finishing.
Level 4 / Advanced
Must have taken several Level 3 classes. More challenging and independent working environment. Improvisation and design opportunities. Brisk pace, may not be finished during class. Requires at home polishing/finishing.

Explore real silver in clay form! This moldable, rollable clay is amazing! Learn about the different varieties of clay and see examples of many different applications. You will make three personalized pieces while learning about tools, and techniques. You’ll learn everything from rolling and texturing the clay, to sanding, polishing and oxidizing. You’ll leave with finished jewelry. Additional $65 materials fee due on class day. Use of tools is complimentary. All skill levels welcome.

The use of all tools and supplies is complimentary. Pieces will be created, fired and finished IN CLASS.

Foundations of Ring Making  $150

Sat. & Sun. September 22 & 23  (9:30a-4:30p)   

Two-Part Class! Learn the basics of the three classic metal clay ring forming techniques: snake band, flat band, and dry assembled construction. Calculating for shrinkage is critical when making rings so they will fit properly. Also covered: carving, pearl setting, clay bezel stone setting, and clay doming. With all of these techniques under your belt you’ll be ready to explore ring designing on your own. There is an additional kit fee of $130 which will be collected on class day. The use of all tools and supplies is complimentary. Pieces will be created, fired and finished IN CLASS.

Cancellation Policy:

Workshop fee is due at time of registration. Seats will not be held without payment.
Additional kit or shared materials fees will be collected on class day.

If you can not attend a workshop, please give at least 72 hours notice. Workshop fee will not be refunded, but can be applied to another workshop. If canceling with less than 72 hours notice, fee will not be refunded or transferred but you will receive any class materials or handouts provided in the class.

Special events are non-refundable and require a minimum of 30 days notice for class credit.
